nature genetics

Nature Genetics is a science magazine that is allocated to genetic related research, discoveries, and concerns encompassing genaetic and functional genomic studies on human traits and on other model organisms. It has been published every month since April 1992. The covers on the magazine reveal uniquely different illustrations of genetic information. This edition of the cover applied the use of chaos theory through fractal geometry. An original photograph taken of nature encompassing the dynamics of state and time was manipulated to reveal patterns reminiscent of Euclidian geometry. The patterns were then repeated and joined at matching hypotenuse and leg locations. The scale and crop of the image on this cover is varied to show different applications.
