The chapel design is located amid spectacular mountain scenery where building forms emerge as a man made structure expressing the surrounding shapes of nature. A study on light patterning using stained glass windows on an asymmetric geodesic triangular surface. The resulting luminance is projected on the floors, ceilings, and walls skewed in all directions throughout the space as shapes emerged from the walls and flow into the furniture. The model consists of stained glass (red, pink, yellow), basswood sheets 24”x3”x1/16”, and basswood strips 24”x1/16”x1/16”.
